Painting

All modes of painting are catered for. Be it at home, in the office, or at the pub, interior or exterior, walls, ceilings, doors and windows, I will bring the right skills and tools to provide a professional finish for all your painting needs. I can advise you on the colours, finishes and materials best suited to your needs.

effects and murals

In addition to solid finishes, I can offer a wide range of painting effects, such as marbling, sponging, ragging and sponging. These effects can add the illusion of depth to a finish and offer something a little different. I also paint murals for children, adding their favourite superhero or cartoon character to their bedroom wall.

Wallpapering

Wallpaper has made a comeback in recent years. Modern styles and colours are far removed from the bland repetitive designs of the 70s and 80s. Wallpaper can add a striking splash of colour and personality to a room and is a great way to differentiate your home or business. I can offer advice on colours and patterns as well as quantities and quality of materials to use for a job.

Sign-writing

While hand painted signs may be less frequent, having an artisan painted sign fronting your business can really help it to stand out.  Various font styles are catered for and lettering can be done either in paint, gold leaf or combination of both. From early on in my career I have been sign-writing and have grown in my expertise ever since.

Wood and Metal Finishing

From tables and chairs to floors and doorsWhether, you wish to coat your hardwood floors, provide a solid French polish finish to an antique desk or apply creoste to a garden shed. I can provide a wealth of services in wood finishes. 

For wrought iron gates and fences, I can provide restorative work, removing rust and bringing a fresh look to aged metal work.

Odd-jobs

Having my own ladders means I can help clean out gutter pipes. Likewise, small household projects like installing light dimmers or tiling a small area are no problem for me. I've worked with many tradesmen over the years and have picked up the knack for completing small odd-jobs like these.
